As resort towns go, it’s hard to beat Queenstown, New Zealand, positioned on the shores of Lake Wakatipu, with easy access to all manner of adventures, from skiing to water sports and beyond. It’s a smallish town, but features its fair share of chic urban style — including QT Queenstown, a boutique hotel that wouldn’t look out of place in many a larger city.
