About Inkaterra Hacienda Concepción
A lodge doesn’t get much deeper into the heart of the Peruvian Amazon than Inkaterra Hacienda Concepción. Accessible only by a scenic canoe ride from the nearby town of Puerto Maldonado — a 25-minute flight from Cusco — Hacienda Concepción puts you right in the thick of it, with all the excursions that entails, all led by skilled local guides. Five rooms occupy the main lodge, and another 25 cabanas offer a touch more privacy. While high-end luxuries are absent, the experience is comfortable, and totally immersive. It’s as eco-friendly and sustainable as can be, and the dining room serves dishes prepared with organic and local farm products.
