About Palatinus Boutique Hotel
The southern Hungarian city of Pécs is rich with history, from the early days of Christianity through the Ottoman era. Palatinus Boutique Hotel pays tribute to a more recent era, updating a lovely 18th-century building with stylish modernist furniture and saturated contemporary colors. Photos of historical scenes adorn the walls of its 29 rooms, each of which comes with a stone-clad, Deco-accented modern bathroom. The downtown district’s shops, restaurants, and cafés are close at hand, but don’t underestimate the hotel’s own Brunch and Bar — despite its name, it’s open all day, serving an à la carte breakfast and modern bistro fare for lunch and dinner.
