About Fleur Noire Hotel
With its secret garden-like pool and a speakeasy-style rosé bar, Fleur Noire Hotel offers a taste of France in Palm Springs. Indeed, its origin story began in the French countryside, where the owners purchased seeds from a roadside cart. The flowers bloomed black, providing the inspiration for this boutique hotel’s theme. Its modern, light-filled interiors feature moody floral wallpaper by designer Ellie Cashman, while Louise Jones’s larger-than-life botanical murals bloom across the hotel’s outdoor spaces, including a poolside courtyard with fire pits, Adirondack chairs, and lawn games. Casitas, bungalows, and suites have terracotta-tiled floors with woven throw rugs, midcentury-inspired bespoke furnishings, and more boldly painted flowers, and some come with kitchenettes and private patios. When the afternoon sun bears down, there’s no better place to be than beneath a fringed parasol by the pool, taking in a postcard-like view of the nearby mountains, framed by palm trees.
