About Victor\u0027s Residenz - Hotel Schloss Berg

Set amid riverside vineyards near the intersection of Germany, France, and Luxembourg, Victor’s Residenz-Hotel Schloss Berg comprises two buildings — one modeled after a Roman villa and the other resembling a Renaissance-era castle. There’s the Three-MICHELIN-Star Victor's Fine Dining by Christian Bau, another restaurant serving Italian cuisine, plus a German-style beer garden, and a spa inspired by ancient Roman baths. There’s a lot going on here, suffice it to say. But the mélange of cultural influences infuses the place with character one wouldn’t typically expect of a hotel that’s part of a chain, in this case, Victor’s, with more than a dozen locations across Germany. The eclectic, more-is-more philosophy also applies to rooms and suites. Rooms in the villa feature sumptuous drapery, gilded headboards, richly carpeted floors — some in bold shades like emerald green or coral red — and artwork inspired by Roman antiquities. Those in the castle have a fairy tale aesthetic, with ornate mirrors and jewel-toned canopies over the beds. In both the villa and the castle, top-level suites offer extra space and beautiful views over the vineyards below. After breakfast, served on the terrace in good weather, a seemingly endless array of hiking and biking trails, wineries, and museums are within easy reach.
