About Eco by StrandNara
Two hundred meters from the beach on the Baltic island of Öland is where you’ll find StrandNära, a lovely boutique b&b-style eco-hotel. Owners Erica & Mikael Anerhaf have transformed this 1926 residence into a picture-perfect 21st-century guest house, bringing a singular focus to the color palette and decorating it in an exemplary Scandinavian country style — crisp and clean, but far from minimal. Breakfast is a given, and dinner, a three-course modern Nordic affair, is a must as well. The village of Stora Frö is a short drive away, as is the Beijershamn nature reserve.
