About Le Château de Mirwart
For sheer picturesque drama, the Château de Mirwart, built on a shelf of rock above the river Lomme, is up there with any of them. It traces its earliest history back well over a thousand years, and in its current incarnation it’s more than a landmark — it’s a boutique-style luxury hotel whose 20 rooms and suites are as contemporary as their surroundings are historic. Many bear traces of the château’s architecture, especially the two-bedroom tower suite, with its stone walls and timbered ceilings. The restaurant is a particular highlight.
