About Riad Jaaneman
It’s essential to the genre of the riad hotel that it maintain a residential feeling, but Jaaneman, more than most, is easy to imagine as a private home — it was in fact the home of the current owner, prior to its refashioning as a luxurious five-room boutique guest house. Its owner’s Italian heritage is evident in the house’s stylish, contemporary fixtures and furnishings, though of course the dominant aesthetic impression is pure, luxurious Moroccan seclusion. Every room is different, as you’d expect, not only in layout but in size and style as well. And along with the bedrooms, you’ll find plenty of common space, including a variety of living rooms as well as a plunge pool in the central courtyard. A rooftop terrace is prized for its view of the surrounding city; guests sunbathe or dine and drink on shaded banquettes.
