About Zel Mallorca
Spanish tennis star Rafael Nadal knows a thing or two about relaxing in style. And it stands to reason that for ZEL, a hospitality concept in collaboration with Meliá Hotels International, he’d choose his home island of Mallorca as a starting point. Zel Mallorca’s open layout is inspired by the indoor-outdoor concept of a traditional Mediterranean home, with a large, light-filled central patio serving as a lobby, café, boutique, and lounge space. Natural materials and earth tones abound here and in the spacious rooms and suites, from inviting linen sofas and pale wood furnishings to globe-shaped wicker lamps suspended overhead; everything is positioned to maximize views of the ocean. The pool, fringed by palm trees and palapa-style umbrellas, faces the sea and borders Beso Beach, the hotel’s airy bar and restaurant; meanwhile the hotel organizes outdoor adventures from a list curated by the 22-time Grand Slam champ himself.
