About Rawla Bisalpur
The Bisalpur family has lived on this estate for centuries. In 2019, the two brothers, Veer Vinod and Paramvir Singh, opened their 1930s Indo-European villa as a four-room guesthouse. It stands adjacent to the family's crumbling 18th-century rawla, at the foot of an ancient volcanic rock face. Leopards have shared this land with the family for generations, and the evening safari is led by the brothers themselves, who grew up tracking them across Jawai's granite outcrops. Their mother, Kunwarani Bhagyawanti Sodha, oversees the kitchen, with menus changing seasonally. Farm picnics, bicycle tours, and sundowners by Jawai Lake fill the remaining hours.
