About Missing Hotel
It’s an unusual name, but it makes its point: what’s gone missing at Missing Hotel is not the hotel itself, but you, for the duration of your stay. This 11-unit escape is set near the town of Marble Falls, just beyond the outskirts of Austin — close enough for an easy weekend trip, but far enough to feel properly secluded. Call it glamping, if you must, or forest bathing, or just a Hill Country getaway, but the bottom line is the same: a collection of geodesic domes and villas built on platforms amid the treetops, each one with a plunge pool or a hot tub for maximum relaxation. The style is a quirky mix of modern and bohemian, and is nothing if not memorable — and the same goes for the whole experience, which is perfectly comfortable yet delighfully off-the-grid.
