About Eringer Hotel
High in the Val d'Hérens at over 1,800 meters, with views stretching to the Dent Blanche and the Matterhorn, Eringer is a more interesting proposition than most alpine hotels at this price point. Rooms use sustainably harvested timber sourced less than 65 kilometers away, an award-winning construction method that gives them a distinctly alpine character without the usual clichés. Five restaurants cover everything from 48-hour fermented Neapolitan pizza to raclette made with cheese from two local fromageries. Direct access to the neighboring Grands Bains d'Hérémence, an onsen-inspired spa with heated outdoor pools, makes it work as well in summer as in winter.
