About Fraser Suites Hamburg
Occupying an imposing 1907-vintage building that was once the headquarters of Hamburg’s tax authority, Fraser Suites is just about as central as it gets, surrounded by cultural and commercial destinations. This high-end boutique hotel’s interiors pay subtle tribute to the setting, but the overall impression is a contemporary one, with a light touch but with heavyweight comforts, including Nespresso machines, and, in some rooms, views of the river. The Quintessenz restaurant is a more conscious 1920s throwback, as is the Oval Bar, which feels a bit like something you’d have found on a Gilded Age ocean liner.
