About Château Brachet
In the late 1800s, Château Brachet belonged to Doctor Léon Brachet, physician to royalty and a central figure in the rise of Aix-les-Bains as a spa destination. His former home now houses 15 individually styled rooms, each paying tribute to a notable guest from the Belle Époque. The park spans six hectares, with a pool, croquet lawn, paddle court, and a golf practice course woven between gardens and forest paths. Historic outbuildings have been repurposed, but the mood remains aristocratic. Time moves differently here, but the service, setting, and attention to detail stay firmly in the present.
