Housed within Dubai Mall, Kempinski Central Avenue sits surrounded by more than 1,200 shops and entertainment options, and that’s in addition to the hotel’s own four restaurants and bars. Spacious rooms are smartly dressed but not overly decorated; here the focus is on the Dubai city views, framed by floor-to-ceiling windows that open onto sky high balconies. But it’s from the outdoor infinity pool that the vista is best, taking in the Dubai skyscrapers including the world’s tallest and Kempinski’s neighbor, the Burj Khalifa. Perhaps the only space where you won’t miss the view is in the spa, which eschews the current trend for high tech anti-aging treatments with classic aromatherapy massages to gently relax and restore wellbeing.
