About Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern
Sitting right on the edge of Lake Lucerne, the Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern is rather impressively still run by the fifth generation of the Hauser family, who originally opened the hotel back in 1845. The 101 classically decorated rooms have welcomed the likes of Winston Churchill, Neil Armstrong, Leo Tolstoy and Richard Wagner over the years, and many offer views of Lake Lucerne and the surrounding mountains. The VICO brasserie serves Swiss, French and international dishes, while VILLA Schweizerhof puts a gastronomic spin on regional specialties. Nightcaps can be enjoyed in the Schweizerhof bar, although it’s also a popular spot with locals for an after-work drink. The fifth-floor spa rounds out the offering with its fitness room, sauna, massage treatments, and sweeping lake views.
