About QT Canberra
The businesslike tower that contains QT Canberra gives little hint of what’s inside; like all the QT hotels, it’s stylish to an extreme. This one plays on the capital’s history, immersing guests in a world of playful political kitsch, from the images of famous politicians to a design style in its restaurant and bars that’s almost parodically high-powered. The rooms are sunnier but no less playfully elegant, and they’re furnished with all the comforts of a much more self-serious luxury hotel. Capitol Bar & Grill adds Italian flavors to a farm-to-table Canberran menu, and Lucky’s Speakeasy feels like the kind of place where late-night deals get done.
