The Fold Cambridge

The Fold Cambridge offers self-contained suite stays near Cambridge, with the city 3 miles away by cycle, bus, car or taxi. Its setting includes restored original stable-stall details, suite layouts, a central courtyard garden for exclusive use, and access to 24-acre grounds.

Original stable detail is the reason to choose it

Separate living and sleeping areas are divided by original stable stalls that were rescued from the buildings and lightly restored, retaining the marks and indents left by horses. That gives the suites a clear link to the buildings’ former use.

The Bridle suite occupies the original tack room and the first stable stall area, with space for two guests plus social and dining space for four when friends are staying in a next-door suite. Exclusive use covers all four self-contained suites, each sleeping two, with private access to the central courtyard garden and open access to the full 24-acre grounds.

Book for space near Cambridge, not a conventional hotel setup

This works well understood as a self-contained suite stay close to Cambridge. The Old Workshop is the room to note for accessibility, as it is the only wheelchair-accessible room. The clearest stated advantages are the distinct living and sleeping areas in some suites, the central courtyard garden with exclusive use, and access to the grounds.
