About Hôtel de Bourbon
Hotel De Bourbon Grand Hotel Mercure Bourges is a mouthful, but everyone in town is familiar with the charmingly historic old abbey, adjacent to the lovely Prés Fichaux Garden, that provides the structure for the most prestigious lodging in this small city in central France. Its rooms, perhaps surprisingly, are contemporary through and through, both in form and in function; among the other inducements are Les Petits Plats du Bourbon, the bistro-style restaurant, and Le 62, the bar, specializing in whiskey, wine, and Champagne. The old town center is a short distance to the south, and the rail station just across the river to the north.
