About Relais Le due Matote
Set on an agricultural estate at the edge of the Langhe village of Bossolasco, Relais Le Due Matote is, like so many of Piedmont’s small luxury hotels, as much a culinary experience as it is an overnight lodging. Not to say its suites, with their unique blend of antique charm and contemporary stylishness, couldn’t perfectly well stand on their own. But it’s only when you consider them together with the fine-dining L’Orangerie restaurant and Il Giardino, the more casual pizzeria, that the picture comes entirely into focus. They call the Imperial Suite “the queen of the Relais,” and it’s certainly the most ornate; the others, however, aren’t far behind — even the smallest junior suite spans some 45 square meters. In the vault you’ll find a wellness area and an indoor therapeutic pool, complemented by the outdoor swimming pool, with its view of the gardens and grounds.
