    About Arte Luise Kunsthotel

People from all over the world come to Berlin to see cutting-edge art in the city’s galleries, museums, and — if the Arte Luise Kunsthotel has anything to say about it — its hotels. It’s billed as “a gallery where you can spend the night,” and each of its 50 rooms (some of which share centrally located baths) has been painstakingly created by an artist. Most are recommissioned every two to five years to keep the art current — as of this writing, guests can pick from unique designs like a three-dimensional reproduction of Carl Spitzweg’s The Poor Poet, and a tribute to Edward Hopper. In the lobby, you’ll find sculptures and installations, as well as a bookstore specializing in Berlin’s art and architecture.
