About The Bird
On the theory that Bath has enough historically minded traditional hotels, the proprietors of this Victorian mansion-turned-boutique hotel chose to take things in a playful and irreverent direction. The Bird is full of bold patterns, bright colors, and animal imagery; its 29 rooms range from Dinky to Roomy and beyond, and freely mix modern and antique elements. A restaurant and terrace establish a convivial mood, especially on match days at Bath Rugby’s stadium, a few minutes’ walk from the hotel.
