About The StandardX\u002c Bangkok Phra Arthit
The StandardX does not follow the script. Set along Phra Arthit Road, just upriver from the Khaosan chaos, this 62-room hotel takes a sharp turn from traditional Thai style. Expect concrete floors, surrealist murals, and rooms with punchy artwork, balconies, and blackout blinds. The rooftop pool and bar deliver knockout river views, while the gallery and all-day restaurant keep things local. It is rich, compact, and creative, closer to Berlin than Bangkok in spirit, but firmly rooted in the city’s old quarter.
