That’s the case in Bandung, Indonesia’s second city, two hours’ drive to the south and east from Jakarta. Though home to millions, it’s got nothing else quite like the InterContinental Bandung Dago Pakar. Like many of InterContinental’s properties it’s one part business hotel and one part luxury resort — set on the mountainous northern fringe of the city, it’s surrounded by lush greenery, and offers far-ranging views.
