About Estancia La Paz Hotel
Estancia La Paz, in the foothills of the Sierras Chicas mountains, an hour’s drive north of the Argentine city of Córdoba, might feel like it’s in the middle of nowhere, but it was once a stop along the Camino Real, and the ranch later became the summer getaway of Argentine president Julio Roca. Today, it’s a luxury hotel complete with golf course, polo fields, and a handful of elegant bars and restaurants. Guest rooms, set throughout the ranch’s historic buildings, are tranquil and refined — think brick ceilings, canopied beds, chandeliers, and views of lavish gardens by the French landscape architect Charles Thays.
