About Hostellerie de la Renaissance
For over two decades Arnaud and Céclilia Viel have operated this lovely small hotel near the center of Argentan, and while it’s a fine home base from which to explore Normandy, it’s also something of a destination unto itself. The Hostellerie de la Renaissance wears its boutique-hotel influence on its sleeve — colorful and vibrant in the public spaces, soothingly Zen-inflected in the bedrooms. And as handsome as the lodging may be, the real attraction is the restaurant, the Michelin-starred La Renaissance, whose finely crafted cuisine is enlivened by pops of neon in the modern-meets-classic dining room.
