About Markus
In the heart of the Loire Valley city of Angers, occupying a well-loved 19th-century townhouse, is an unpretentiously stylish boutique hotel by the name of Markus. Its living spaces are gallery-like in their minimalism, with whites and neutrals predominant above antique hardwood floors; the impression is only heightened by the presence of some eye-catching contemporary art. In addition to the 14 rooms there's an all-day coffee shop open to both guests and locals, serving brunch, lunch and tea time snacks by the in-house pastry chef.
