Soho House is a global private members' club designed for creatives, offering a unique blend of comfortable and characterful spaces for dining, working, relaxing, and exercising. It is known for its distinctive design philosophy, extensive art collection, and diverse amenities including pools, spas (Cowshed), and screening rooms, fostering a sense of belonging for its members worldwide.
Soho House, founded by Nick Jones, has undergone several ownership changes. Initially, Jones sold a majority stake to Richard Caring's Caprice Holdings in 2008. In 2012, Ron Burkle's Yucaipa Companies acquired a 60% stake. The company went public on the NYSE in 2021 as Membership Collective Group. However, it announced plans in August 2025 to return to private ownership in a $2.7 billion deal led by MCR Hotels.
