Dinner at Mama Tree

Outstanding in the Field’s Mama Tree event is an outdoor farm-to-table culinary dinner with communal table dining at Mama Tree in Upper Ojai. The organizer is Outstanding in the Field.

The host farmers are Natalie Buckley-Medrano, Jeffrey Reidl, Logan Oliver, Abudu Nenwero, and Rachael Campos. The guest chef is Meave McAuliffe of Rory’s Place, the guest brewery is Topa Topa Brewing Company, and Mountain Valley Spring Water is the guest beverage producer.

Mama Tree is a regenerative organic orchard and working farm where education is central to the mission. Its land stewardship is practiced through permaculture design, organic methods, systems thinking, and community building, with citrus, olives, walnuts, diverse plantings, goats, and chickens on the farm.

Meave McAuliffe will draw on the region’s bounty and Mama Tree’s ethos of care, connection, and ecological abundance to craft a menu that celebrates place, community, and the natural beauty of the Ojai Valley. Ticket and meal policies

Ticket information lists a price of $418.28 USD. The policy says no refunds or credits are given if a participant cannot attend, but tickets can be transferred to someone else with the new guest’s information provided at least 24 hours before the event, or by having the guest give the reservation name at arrival.

Because the meals are family style, the organizer can only guarantee accommodations for vegetarian requests. Guests can enter that information during checkout if it applies to them or their party.
