About the event
A Signature Event with a centennial marker
The 2026 Genesis Invitational is a PGA TOUR Signature Event built around a 72-player field and 72 holes of stroke play. This edition also marks the tournament’s 100th anniversary, so the defining facts are its limited-field format, stroke-play structure, and centennial year rather than a general golf-week label.
Tournament week format
Tournament week begins with the Collegiate Showcase on Monday, followed by Practice Rounds on Tuesday and a Pro-Am Presented by Bang & Olufsen on Wednesday. Tournament Rounds 1–4 are scheduled from Thursday through Sunday, giving the week a progression from showcase and preparation days into four competitive rounds.
