Long-table format

Outstanding in the Field brings its long-table format to Provincetown Pier in P Town for an open-air, communal multi-course feast centered on Cape Cod seafood, shellfish, and produce. The meal is served family-style along a single long table on the pier overlooking Provincetown Harbor.

Named participants

Kalliope Chute and Mike Chute of Mermaid Menu are the host farmers, with Katherine Dufault of The Canteen as guest chef. Clos du Val is the guest winery, and the event description also refers to Cape farmers and fisherpeople and local chefs joining the outdoor kitchen.

Food, wine, and requests

The menu centers on locally harvested Provincetown oysters and shellfish from Mermaid Menu and Sandy Bottom Oysters, with local seafood and produce prepared in an outdoor kitchen. Wines from Clos du Val are part of the pairing.

Because the meal is family-style, Outstanding in the Field can only guarantee accommodations for vegetarian requests, which can be entered during checkout. Tickets are not refunded or credited if a participant cannot attend, but they can be transferred to someone else with new guest information provided at least 24 hours before the event.
