A four-week truffle trail through Noojee
Noojee Truffle Festival is Noojee's first truffle festival, running from 10 July to 2 August 2026 across four weeks. The format is a regional trail called Follow Your Nose – Truffles, Tracks & Trails, with visitors moving between truffières, dining venues and pop-ups at their own pace.
Program stops across farms, dining and workshops
The program centres on winter truffles through farm experiences, truffle hunts with trained dogs, long lunches and dinners. Ashridge Truffles hosts hunt experiences with trained dogs and fireside tastings in the Farmer's Kitchen, while signature dining events include Truffle Temptations at Neeri Nuff and Feast over Fire at Toorongo Valley Estate.
The festival also includes Florals and Truffles in the Forest at Ridge Road Blooms, a workshop combining native blooms with truffle scones.
Truffle Station and festival support
The weekend hub is Truffle Station at the Noojee Heritage Precinct, open on weekends from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. It provides maps, truffle sales, truffle toasties, live music, face painting and Sunday truffle dog appearances.
The festival was developed by the local Truffle Growers Group with the Noojee and District Historical Society as the auspice organization, and it is supported through the Victorian Government's Forestry Transition Program Community Development Fund.
