A La Tablée 2026 wine tasting masterclass on Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Gigondas at Astor Center in New York City.
Châteauneuf-du-Pape & Gigondas Masterclass is a guided wine tasting and educational seminar focused on Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Gigondas, two Southern Rhône appellations. It is part of La Tablée NYC’s Rhône wine festival, which runs December 9–12, 2026, and the event takes place in New York City.
The session is built as a tasting and discussion rather than a walk-around festival event. The conversation is framed around the history of the appellations and their diversity, with two estates named in the program: Château La Nerthe of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Château de Saint Cosme of Gigondas.
The published tasting list is organized across three Château La Nerthe bottlings of Châteauneuf du Pape Blanc “Clos de Beauvenir,” three Château La Nerthe bottlings of Châteauneuf du Pape “Cuvée des Cadettes,” and three Château de Saint Cosme bottlings of Gigondas. The listed vintages span 2000, 2001, 2010, 2011, 2020, and 2021 across those wines.
Château La Nerthe is represented by Roman Aujoulat, while Château de Saint Cosme is represented by Louis Barruol. The event description notes that wines and participants may change, so the named lineup should be read as the published program rather than a guarantee of the final pour list.
David Gordon moderates the session. He is identified as the longtime Wine Director of Tribeca Grill, described as an expert on the Southern Rhône and Châteauneuf-du-Pape, and noted as one of three Americans granted honorary citizenship in the village of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
Astor Center hosts the masterclass in New York City. The organizer is La Tablée / Gracie Events, the published price is $125 plus tax, American Express presale is open, general sale begins October 19 at noon Eastern, and tickets are sold by the organizer with all sales final.
