The fair at Santa Monica Airport
Frieze Los Angeles returns to Santa Monica Airport for its seventh edition, bringing together more than 100 galleries from 24 countries. The fair is an international contemporary art event with presentations across a custom indoor-outdoor structure.
Projects, awards, and featured artists
The program combines gallery presentations with site-specific installations, nonprofit collaborations, and pop-ups from Los Angeles restaurants. It also sits at the center of Frieze Week in Los Angeles, connecting the international art market with local institutions, community, and the broader creative scene.
Frieze Projects, titled Body & Soul, is a public program of site-specific outdoor activations and installations across the airport campus in partnership with Art Production Fund. The outdoor activations on airport grounds are free and open to the public.
The edition also includes the Deutsche Bank Frieze Los Angeles Film Award, which supports emerging LA-based filmmakers, and the Frieze Impact Prize in partnership with WME Impact and NXTHVN. Christine Messineo is Director (Americas) at Frieze, and Amanda Ross-Ho, Dan John Anderson, and Polly Borland are featured commissioned artists.
Entry windows
Access varies by day. The first day is an invitation-only Preview Day. The following day begins with an invitation-only window before opening to Preview Ticket holders. General Public entry is scheduled for the final two days of the fair.
