The lineup spans seven wines and the last 15 years. It includes 2025 Signature Chenin Blanc, three vintages of Signature Cabernet Sauvignon from 2023, 2015 and 2010, and three vintages of Pritchard Hill Cabernet Sauvignon from 2023, 2019 and 2016. The tasting is framed as a comparison between Signature Cabernet Sauvignon and the flagship Pritchard Hill Cabernet Sauvignon.

The Pritchard Hill context matters because Chappellet’s founders looked beyond the Napa Valley floor toward steep hillsides, then planted on the rocky eastern slopes of the valley. The estate vineyard is described as central to the producer, divided into 47 plots including 40 Cabernet Sauvignon blocks that are farmed differently, with clones and rootstocks selected for each block.
