This Outstanding in the Field stop centers on Verrill Farm in historic Concord, Massachusetts, more than a decade after the organizer’s first visit in 2013. The event is part of the Outstanding in the Field 2026 Tour.

Program participants

Host farmers are Steve Verrill, Jen Verrill, and Nadyson Damata. Guest chef Erin Miller is from Urban Hearth in Cambridge, and she chose Verrill Farm as the place where she’d like to make dinner. The named beverage participants are Oscar Hernandez of Olmstead Wine Co for guest wine and Mountain Valley Spring Water as guest beverage producer; the event description also names Notch Brewing as guest brewery.

The farm itself

Verrill Farm is described as more than 100 years old. Steve Verrill’s parents started a dairy there in 1918; Steve assumed operation in 1957; and the property was placed under an Agricultural Preservation Restriction in 1982 before the family shifted from dairy to produce in 1990.

The farm’s current footprint is described as 100 acres of prime farmland and 100 acres devoted to wildlife habitat, woodlands, and wetlands. The description also says the farm has grown from a roadside stand into a neighborhood staple for fresh produce, baked goods, prepared foods, and local goods.

Tickets and transfer terms

Tickets are priced at $414.38 with fees, and the event is marked as sold out. Outstanding in the Field says refunds or credits are not given if a participant cannot attend, but tickets can be transferred to someone else with the new guest’s information provided at least 24 hours before the event, or by having the guests using the reservation give the original reservation name at arrival.
