Latin America’s first Dior Spa opens at Copacabana Palace on 3 November 2026, with six treatment rooms and public access daily.

Book Dior Spa Copacabana Palace if your 2026 Rio trip needs serious skin care, recovery and Dior fragrance access in one address. Dior Spa at Copacabana Palace opens on 3 November 2026 at Copacabana Palace, A Belmond Hotel, Rio de Janeiro, as Latin America’s first Dior Spa, with six treatment rooms inside a five-storey Wellness Club in the reopened Pool Wing. The draw is the full day setup: Dior protocols, training and recovery without leaving the hotel.

This is the practical win: Dior treatments, Technogym training, Pilates, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, thermal recovery, a juice bar, a salon, a barbershop and Dior retail unavailable elsewhere in Rio all sit at one address. The spa and Wellness Club are open daily from 10:00 to 20:00.

Why Dior Spa at Copacabana Palace Matters Now

Dior Spa gives Rio the Maison’s spa protocols inside one of the city’s defining hotels, so this is worth tracking if you already rate Dior skin care or want a full wellness day rather than a single massage. The timing matters too: the opening is part of the Pool Wing grand reopening, and the five-storey Wellness Club sits above the hotel’s pool.

The Dior connection is not decorative. Marc Bohan, Dior’s creative director from 1960 to 1989, presented an Haute Couture collection in the Palace gardens in 1961. In 1975, he chose Copacabana Beach for a swimwear collection photoshoot. Dior is returning to a hotel and beach already tied to its archive.

Hotel guests and the public can book the spa daily from 10:00 to 20:00, with reservations handled by email at spa.cop@belmond.com.

After 3 November 2026, this becomes the Rio address to book when you want facial work, body sculpting, training and recovery in one plan.

Five Storeys Above the Pool Wing

The Wellness Club setup is stronger than a standard hotel spa because it covers the whole day. The facility includes a fitness centre, a Pilates and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu studio, a dedicated recovery floor and a juice bar, with the Dior Spa as one part of the five-storey offer. That format fits Rio, where a luxury day can move from training to beach, pool, grooming and dinner.

The Fitness Centre uses Technogym’s Artis line and spans two spaces on the ground floor. There is also a private movement and yoga studio, plus a dedicated Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu space where guests can learn and practise the martial art. Every room is supplied with a yoga mat, and guests have access to personal trainers, so you can train inside the hotel with proper support rather than improvising in a small gym.

On the second floor, the thermal area includes saunas, including infrared, a steam room, an ice bath and an ice fountain. The relaxation lounge serves botanical waters and teas with light bites inspired by traditional Brazilian ingredients. This is the recovery piece to use after training or before a Dior treatment.

The Suco Bar serves Brazilian ingredients, superfoods and traditional remedies. The Wellness Club also includes a hair salon, barbershop and Beauty Lounge. The Beauty Lounge works for guests preparing for celebrations, weddings or hotel events, with Dior products or their own make-up artists. That makes the facility useful for groups as well as solo treatment bookings.

    The Treatments to Book First

Start with the Copacabana-only treatments. Dior Spa opens with an exclusive collaboration with Dr. Maria Bussade, the Brazilian dermatologist and founder of São Paulo’s Bussade Health. She and Dior have created two signature treatments available only at Copacabana Palace: the Couture Radiance Facial and the Carioca High Sculpt.

The Couture Radiance Facial combines massage, dry brushing and micro-current therapy, with the intended result of firmer, more luminous-looking skin. The Carioca High Sculpt draws on Brazilian body-sculpting practice to detoxify, tone and reshape. Choose Carioca High Sculpt if your trip is built around beach days, pool time and fitted evening clothes.

The Healing Heart Ceremony is another Copacabana-specific booking. Dior designed it for this spa, with a ritual inspired by the ocean’s energy using semi-precious stones, sound therapy tools and singing bowls. Book this over the sculpting treatment only if you want a slower ritual rather than visible body work.

The menu also includes Dior’s Haute Wellness treatments. Kobi-Dior is a precision facial massage co-created with Dior International Wellness Expert Hadda Akrim from the Japanese Kobido technique. New Look Dior is a full-body treatment combining sculpting, drainage and micro-stimulation.

The Dior Retail Angle in Rio

Copacabana Palace will be the only destination in Rio to purchase La Collection Privée, Dior’s haute perfumery line created by Francis Kurkdjian, the Maison’s perfumer. It will also carry L’Or de Vie, Dior’s skincare and longevity line crafted from extracts of Château d’Yquem. If you usually buy fragrance and skin care in Paris, London or New York, this gives the spa a second purpose: treatment first, retail after.

The Prestige line uses the Granville rose, harvested once a year. The Dior Maison wellness line makes its Brazilian debut at the property. That gives the Rio opening a retail reason to matter before the first treatment begins, especially for fragrance collectors and L’Or de Vie users who want a Rio access point.

Francis Kurkdjian’s name gives La Collection Privée the strongest credential signal for fragrance buyers. Dior products will sit near treatment rooms. Rio gains a Dior retail edit connected to the spa experience, and the hotel becomes the only place in the city to purchase those two lines.

How to Book, and Who Should Go

The Copacabana-only treatments are Couture Radiance Facial, Carioca High Sculpt and the Healing Heart Ceremony.

For hotel guests, the smartest plan is to build the day around the Pool Wing: morning training, thermal recovery, Suco Bar, then a Dior treatment before dinner. For non-guests, the better use case is a half-day appointment that includes recovery and retail, especially if you are staying elsewhere in Rio but want Dior protocols. Public access makes this larger than an amenity for room guests, and the 10:00 to 20:00 schedule works for post-flight recovery or pre-evening preparation.

Book this if Dior skin care, body sculpting, fragrance access or a full wellness day will shape your Rio itinerary. Track it if you are planning a 2026 or 2027 Brazil trip and want the new Pool Wing to settle into service before committing a full day. Skip it if your spa expectations start and end with a basic massage, because the value sits in the combination of Dior protocols, Dr. Maria Bussade’s Rio-only treatments, thermal recovery and retail access.
