Why go

Bar context
How it compares for a Scottsdale lounge choice
Chula Seafood Grayhawk is the better cross-shop if the evening needs to be food-led; Onyx Bar and Lounge makes more sense when the priority is a hotel-lounge setting and an easier two-person drink. With no verified price range for Onyx, value is harder to judge, so choose it for convenience and atmosphere rather than a bargain read.
Bogey's Lounge and Discovery Lounge are the more natural comparisons for guests deciding between casual lounge formats. Onyx is the safer call for a quieter date-night setup; Bogey's Lounge is likely the better fit when the night should feel more casual and less resort-centered.
The Plaza Bar is the peer to check when the bar itself is meant to carry the night, while Onyx is more practical as part of a hotel stay or north Scottsdale plan. Griffin Club sits outside the metro context here, so use it only as a broader lounge comparison rather than a direct Scottsdale substitute.
