Why go
Luana Lounge is worth it for a relaxed Kohala Coast resort evening: island cocktails, chilled wine, and Asian-inspired share plates in a sunset-facing lobby lounge. Go for a casual date, intimate gathering, or low-effort first night near Fairmont Orchid; skip it if you want a chef-led dinner or a cocktail bar built around named signature drinks.
About Luana Lounge
Luana Lounge is a Puako venue with a simple planning profile: it is open nightly from 5–11 PM, lists casual dress, and has a price point of $45 per person. Beyond those basics, specific details about the menu, drinks, setting, service style, or atmosphere are not confirmed here, so the safest way to evaluate it is as an evening option rather than a fully defined dining destination.
That makes Luana Lounge easiest to consider when timing and convenience matter. If you are planning around Puako and want a casual evening stop within the 5–11 PM window, it may fit the plan. If you need a specific cuisine, signature dish, beverage program, seating style, or special-occasion format, verify those details directly before making it the centerpiece of the night.
Plan around the confirmed evening basics
The practical takeaway is to treat it as a casual evening venue at the stated $45 per person price point, not as a place whose exact menu can be described from the information available here.
For a first visit, plan around the confirmed basics: Puako location, casual dress, nightly 5–11 PM hours, and $45 per person pricing. Anyone with dietary needs, menu expectations, or a preference for a structured dinner should check with the venue directly before going.
Use it as a flexible Puako evening option
The confirmed facts do not establish specific room features, views, entertainment, or ambience. What can be said is that Luana Lounge is an evening option in Puako with casual dress and consistent nightly hours, which makes it direct to slot into a simple night out.
It should be considered most carefully by guests who are comfortable confirming details before arrival.
For planning around Puako, compare Luana Lounge with other Puako options generically, and confirm current details directly if your plans depend on a particular menu, format, setting, or service.
Bottom line: Luana Lounge is worth considering if you want a casual Puako option during its nightly 5–11 PM hours and the $45 per person price point fits your plan. For anything more specific, confirm current details directly with the venue.
Quick reference: Choose it for casual dress, nightly 5–11 PM hours, and a $45 per person Puako evening plan.

Bar context
How Luana Lounge compares in Puako
Luana Lounge is the conservative pick when convenience matters more than a defined bar identity. Kahakai Bar is the cleaner cross-shop for readers who want another Puako bar option to compare before deciding, especially if the priority is a more intentional drinks stop rather than an easy hotel-area lounge.
Copper Bar, Moana Cocktail Bar, and Talk Story Bar are better treated as alternatives for travelers willing to look beyond Puako for a clearer experience. Choose Luana Lounge when staying close is the point; look to those peers when ambiance and a more purposeful bar night matter more than proximity.
For value, Luana Lounge is hard to rank without confirmed pricing. For booking ease, it reads as lower-friction than venues where the bar itself is the destination, but that also means the upside is more limited. If the night needs a reliable centerpiece, cross-shop first; if the night needs a convenient stop, Luana Lounge makes more sense.
