About Hemingway Bar & Lounge
Hemingway Bar & Lounge is worth choosing if the brief is well-made drinks in a cozy, intimate setting, especially for a visit where comfort matters as much as the glass. Skip it if the night needs something more intense; the confirmed draw here is the cocktail bar and lounge experience in Erfurt.
A classic-leaning cocktail room for conversation, not performance
The main reason to go is the combination of well-made drinks and a living-room-like interior. The space is described as cozy, stylish, intimate, lively, trendy, and upscale casual, with a relaxed lounge atmosphere. That makes it a strong fit when the room should support conversation.
Falstaff gives Hemingway Bar & Lounge 92 points for 2026, a confirmed recognition for the venue.
The profile is broad rather than menu-specific: this is a cocktail bar and lounge focused on enjoying well-made drinks in a comfortable setting. First-timers should treat the atmosphere as the point, rather than arriving with expectations around any particular named drink, menu format, or dining program.
Who should choose it first in Erfurt
Choose Hemingway Bar & Lounge for a quieter catch-up or a drink where the room should support the conversation. The price tier is $$$, so the value case depends on whether well-made drinks and atmosphere are the point of the evening. If the goal is the lowest possible spend, this may not be the right target; if the goal is a more grown-up drink in Erfurt, the spend makes more sense.
The venue is in Erfurt, which helps for visitors building an evening around drinks in the city. For planning beyond drinks, use our full Erfurt restaurants guide or compare Hemingway Bar & Lounge with other Erfurt dining and bar options generically.
