Buddy's Pizza in Bloomfield Hills is the suburban outpost of Detroit's original square-pizza institution, it delivers. The pan-baked, caramelised-edge pies are the reason to visit — not the drinks program, which is functional at best. Easy to get into, good for groups and casual dates, a more honest pizza choice than any of the Detroit-style chains that have followed in its wake.
