Yelp Restaurant Lists & Awards
1List
Overview
Yelp publishes restaurant selections informed by community reviews and editorial analysis. Eligibility and methods differ by feature, so each list should be interpreted using its own published rules.
Yelp's ranked features help readers discover restaurants by geography, theme or opening period. They are distinct from the live average star rating on a business profile and from anonymous professional inspection guides. For Best New Restaurants 2026, Yelp considered full-service US businesses opened after January 1, 2025, using review volume, ratings and other factors through June 11, 2026, with editorial consultation. Where available, a passing health score was required as of June 1. These dates and eligibility rules must not be generalized to every Yelp list.
Reviewed October 10, 2026 against publisher announcements and methodology. Each list retains its edition and category; historical recognition does not guarantee current operations.
