    Overview

Asia's 50 Best Bars 2026 is a ranked list of the region's fifty leading bars, published on 28 July 2026 by William Reed as part of the World's 50 Best family. Positions are decided by the confidential votes of the Asia's 50 Best Bars Academy and independently adjudicated by Deloitte. Pearl currently maps 50 bars from this edition.

The Academy behind the list comprises more than 300 drinks experts; bartenders, educators, writers and industry figures; drawn from across the region's 26 covered destinations. Each panellist votes for up to seven bars they have visited in the previous eighteen months, with a maximum of five in their home country, a rule designed to limit domestic concentration in the results. Voting is confidential and the process and results are independently adjudicated by Deloitte. The list is genuinely ranked from 1 to 50, a separate 51-100 extension and individual awards are published alongside it. Pearl's mapped count comes from its own venue-matching process and is independent of the ranking itself.

This is the 2026 edition, announced on 28 July 2026; Asia's 50 Best Bars is published annually and Pearl maps each new edition as a separate list.

    About This Edition

The 2026 edition was announced on 28 July 2026 and ranks bars from 1 to 50 across 26 destinations in Asia. Voting came from an Academy of more than 300 drinks experts, each casting up to seven votes for bars visited in the previous eighteen months and limited to five in their home country; Deloitte independently adjudicated the process. Pearl currently maps 50 bars from this ranking, a figure produced by Pearl's own venue-matching process; a bar appears on Pearl only once it can be matched to a Pearl venue profile, so the mapped count is separate from the published ranking itself.
