The aim is to make you feel like you’re in your own vacation home, minus the management headaches. A substantial continental breakfast is served in the old barn, and the afternoon tea service is worth making time for. There’s a fleet of stylish cruiser bikes for the short ride to the beach, and the leisure offerings include low-key diversions like in-room massages or guided hikes. For dinner, you’re within walking distance of some very fine options right here in Amagansett, and you’re just a few minutes’ drive from East Hampton, should the urge for some faster-paced nightlife strike you — though the lawn-and-campfire scene at the Roundtree is perfectly satisfying on its own.
