About lyf Bugis Singapore
A young generation of digital nomads is the intended audience for lyf Bugis Singapore, whose lower-case moniker is an acronym for “live your freedom.” In practice this means low-frills but high-style rooms are complemented by a mix of fun and functional spaces, including a 24-hour reception, gym, launderette and co-working lounge. There’s a shared fridge, microwave, and ironing room on every floor, and a fully equipped kitchen available for guest use as well. That’s not to say it’s an entirely self-serve experience. Middle Child Wine Bar offers not just the obvious but a menu of shareable bites as well, while the Mars Bar is a proper restaurant in addition to its function as a cocktail bar and occasional live music venue. Meanwhile Orchard Road and Fort Canning Park are within walking distance, and the CBD is 15 minutes by train.
