Nusa Dua is the quieter side of Bali: a planned enclave of wide beaches, golf courses and family-friendly resorts on the island's southern tip, about 35 kilometers from Denpasar. The Laguna has been here for over three decades, and a 2022 renovation refreshed the lobby, rooms and public spaces while keeping the property's Balinese sensibility intact. Seven lagoon-shaped pools run through the grounds; the beachside Arwana Restaurant is the dining highlight, with an Asian grill menu. Thursday evenings bring traditional fire dancing on the open terrace.
