    About Warszauer Hotel

Kraków is often said to be one of Europe’s most picturesque cities, and Kazimierz, the city’s old Jewish quarter, is both rich with historical interest and bustling with contemporary culture. In that sense it’s a perfect match for the Warszauer, a 10-room boutique hotel that effortlessly spans the centuries. Its exterior is unmistakably modern, though with echoes of its historic neighbors, while its interiors are devoted to the work of the Polish artist Tomasz Opaliński and to a number of highly regarded international designers — unique artworks abound, as do classic modernist design furnishings. The Warszauer’s accommodations vary widely in size, though all share a unified aesthetic. The Small Deluxe rooms are exactly what they say they are, their small size balanced by thoughtful comforts and swanky design furniture — the bathrooms, at all levels, are particularly impressive. Larger rooms, suites, and apartments add terraces, living rooms, and, in the case of the penthouse, skylights and city views. Public spaces are somehwhat limited, in keeping with the Warszauer’s residential vibe, but there’s a dining room serving a simple, seasonal, locally sourced menu, as well as a terrace with a view over the rooftops of Kazimierz.
