About Weinhaus Henninger
Housed in a 17th century half-timbered house, Weinhaus Henninger has welcomed some esteemed guests over the years including Aristotle Onassis, champagne master Remy Heidsieck, and the Shah of Persia. The hotel was extended in 2013 to include a selection of simpler rooms in the Weinkastell "Zum Weissen Ross" guest house, which is a separate building just across the road. Henninger's wine bar nods to the long-history of wine making associated with the original family behind the hotel, and the rustic-style restaurant doubles down on the Weinhaus Henninger’s reputation for gastronomy with a menu of regional specialities and long-standing favourite dishes such as Vienna Escalope with warm potato salad and veal kidneys in brandy cream.
