Very stylish, plugged-in locals: the hotel’s design and art collection were all created by Barcelona natives, pa amb tomàquet (fresh bread with tomatoes, olive oil, and garlic) is a staple on the breakfast table, a sleek co-working space provides a quiet spot to catch up on emails, and you can help yourself to drinks anytime from the honesty bar. Rooms are fashionably furnished, yet compact and practical, in keeping with the theme. They’re minimalist in style, with parquet flooring, white coffered walls and ceilings, black wood furniture, and jewel-toned accents. All have large windows letting in natural light, and while many face an interior courtyard, some look out over Las Ramblas. The “tiny” room is mostly just for sleeping and showering, but suites and family rooms offer plentiful space.
