About Genießerhotel BERGERGUT
A 17th-century farmstead and former weaving mill in the Mühlviertel hills, Bergergut has been in the Pürmayer family for five generations, now led by Eva-Maria Pürmayer, the fifth. Adults-only and couples-focused by long-standing conviction, it occupies a rural pocket of Upper Austria, 45 minutes from Linz. The kitchen, under award-winning chef Thomas Hofer, sources almost entirely from local Mühlviertel producers. Rooms span from the Fire & Flame suite with its open fireplace to the theatrical Penthouse, each decorated with a distinct personality.
